BMAT Masterclass - 6 Hours Interactive Small Group Session

The best way to improve your score in this examination is by refining your exam technique and practising questions under timed-conditions as each section is very different in the type of questions asked and the skills required. The approach to each section will be covered in this masterclass and with the guidance of our tutors and the tips we will provide, you can definitely achieve your highest score possible. All our session materials are created by medical students and doctors who have been successful in these exams.

The BMAT examination is required for some of the best medical schools, including Oxbridge, Imperial College and UCL. It is a two hours examination with the following sections:

  • Section 1 -
tests your skills in problem-solving, understanding arguments, and data analysis and inference. You’ll answer 32 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes.
  • Section 2 -
Atests your ability to apply scientific knowledge typically covered in school science and mathematics by the age of 16. You’ll answer 27 multiple-choice questions in 30 minutes.
  • Section 3 -
Tests your ability to select, develop and organise ideas, and to communicate them in writing, concisely and effectively. You’ll write an essay on one of three questions that you choose, and you get 30 minutes to do this.

Like with the UCAT, each section is assessing different skills and content. However, unlike the UCAT, your scientific knowledge is tested in section 2, with a specification outlining all the required content. The examination is time-pressured and the content can be heavy, but this masterclass will cover all the principles of the examination, and how to tackle each question type in each section.

Our expert tutors will train you to tackle the most challenging questions with ease. All our session materials are created by medical students and doctors who have been successful in these exams.
